Linda Chung Ka Yan (traditional Chinese: 鍾嘉欣) (born April 9, 1984) was the 2004 Miss Chinese International Pageant winner and is now an actress with TVB in Hong Kong.
Biography
Linda was born in Maple Ridge, Canada. After graduating from Vancouver's Templeton Secondary School in 2002, Linda attended the University of British Columbia for a year. During that same year, Linda participated and won in a local Chinese mall's beauty-talent show. In 2003, she won the title of Miss Chinese Vancouver, along with three awards in the same event. In 2004, she joined Miss Chinese International, a beauty contest organized by TVB, and became the third Vancouverite in 4 years to win Miss Chinese International after Bernice Liu in 2001 and Shirley Zhou in 2002. The 1st and 2nd runner-up in the same year was Mandy Cho (Hong Kong) and Carlene Aguilar (Manila).
